It Was Like A Dream

It was like a dream

The place which was filled with peace and happiness

Children, Playing with a innocent big smile

The unknown uncle who sell candy, A compact home with full of love

Mommy’s Food, Daddy’s rules.. Sister’s Child Play, and little fights with my baby brother

It was like a heaven in the earth

From nowhere comes the war, Which we people definitely don’t want

Within a fraction of seconds, Smiles turned to tears

Streets covered with blood, Home …. Just ashes

Peace shattered into pieces, Heaven …. Now it’s a hell

Yes, It was like a dream

Me standing in a refugee camp, Waiting in line for hours just to have a loaf of bread

Dedicated to all the brothers and sisters who lost their home land, Life and happiness because of war.
